PLEASE JOIN US THIS SUNDAY, at 10:45 am JANUARY 24 as we LOOK TO THE FUTURE!

1 Peter 3:10-16 (NIV) For, "Whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech. He must turn from evil and do good; he must seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil." Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened." But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.

The worldwide crisis continues to impact us.  However, we are planning on having a Sunday Worship Service at 10:45 am this Sunday, January 24.   We will begin our World Mission Festival which will continue through Wednesday.  I hope that you can attend our services or watch our services on Facebook on Sunday.  The Facebook service can be viewed at any time, just use the link below to find our page or go to www.stuartalliance.weebly.com (our web page to see previous messages). We will continue to broadcast on Facebook until it is completely safe.  If you desire to attend our service, we have masks which will be available for all.  We also have hand sanitizer.  We will continue to keep our distance from each other. We will not have refreshments available this week.

PLEASE READ!
Most of you are aware that I will be retiring in the next month or so. The January 31st service will be the formal time to acknowledge my retirement even though it will probably be March 1st before our new pastor & his wife (Jim & Carla Harp) can begin.  I hope that many of you can attend or watch on Facebook as I give my farewell message.  (I will be hanging around to assist our new pastor.)  I have another personal favor and challenge for you.  If you have noticed our financial reports, we ended the year about $7,000 in the red.  Would you join with me to help our new pastor, Rev. Jim Harp start his ministry with zero debt?   I just received $600 from our government as an extra gift.  I am giving it all to Stuart Alliance to help remove our yearend debt!  Would you be willing to join with me in giving it to the Lord’s work at Stuart Alliance?  If 12 people would sacrifice in this way our debt would be removed!  Will you be part of the miracle?  At the very least you should be giving a tithe (10%) of it back to God.  (If I am being too bold you can always fire or unfriend me.)
(THANK YOU TO THOSE THAT HAVE ALREADY ACCEPTED THE CHALLENGE!)

The Word of God reminds us that we are to be change agents here on earth while we are waiting for Heaven!  One of the ways to be a change agent is to live a life of Peace each day.  The message this Sunday is: A NEW YOU FOR THE NEW YEAR!  “I WILL LIVE TO REACH AS MANY AS POSSIBLE!”

God wants to overflow us with His hope & power.  1 Corinthians 9:19-23 (NIV) Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.

We have a sharing program.  If you have a need or shortage of supplies, please call me or the church office 772-283-4484 or my cell 772-349-4941.  Likewise, if you have extra supplies and are willing to share let us know as well.  Let’s work and pray together for the Glory of God!
Online Donations to Stuart Alliance Church can be made at  https://tithe.ly/give?c=15481

The goal for this Sunday, January 24, is to do the message at church & on Facebook “The New You For A New Year: LIVING TO REACH OTHERS”.  Please take the necessary precautions to be healthy but do them in faith not in fear.  May God surround you with His Peace!                              GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!

I am doing a live segment on Facebook to bring encouragement from God’s Word.

IN 2021, THE BEST IS YET TO COME!
WE WILL GROW IN FAITH, HOPE & LOVE!

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (NIV) However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"-- but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.

1 Corinthians 13:12-13 (NIV) Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

2 Corinthians 1:20-21 (NIV) For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ.

Galatians 2:20 (NIV) I have been crucified with Christ & I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me & gave himself for me.

Philippians 3:13-14 Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind & straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

OUR MISSION IS UNFINISHED!
I WILL LIVE IN SUCH A WAY AS TO WIN AS MANY AS POSSIBLE!
BY GOING, GIVING, & PRAYING!

1. The u_____________ m____________ to God
2 Peter 3:7-13 (NIV) 7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. 8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9 The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. 11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. 13 But in keeping with His promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.

2. My Goal ought to be to w____ as many as p_____________!
1 Corinthians 9:19-23 (NIV) 19 Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. 20 To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. 21 To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law. 22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. 23 I do all this for the sake of the Gospel, that I may share in its blessings.

3. Jesus c_____________ His (Me) disciples to tell, t________, & train the whole w___________ about Him!
Matthew 28:16-20 (NIV) 16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

4. I am to b_________ where I am now to i_______ the whole world for J____ in the power of the Holy Spirit by my w____ and by my life!
Acts 1:4-11 (NIV) 4 On one occasion, while He was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift My Father promised, which you have heard Me speak about. 5 For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit." 6 So when they met together, they asked Him, "Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?" 7 He said to them: "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by His own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." 9 After He said this, He was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid Him from their sight. 10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11 "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven."

5. P_____ is a major part that I can p____ in reaching the w____!
1 Timothy 2:1-8 (NIV) 1 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-- 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself as a ransom for all men--the testimony given in its proper time. 7 And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle--I am telling the truth, I am not lying--and a teacher of the true faith to the Gentiles. 8 I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing.
